Cecille Villacorta invested for early retirement and gainfully retired at 49. Cecille was a top sales executive with sterling work records with New York City's luxury establishments. She one of the grandchildren of Major General Paulino Santos, the highly decorated National Hero of the Philippines, a Medal of Valor recipient bestowed by Governor-General and later Supreme Court Justice Frank Murphy; and respectfully noted in President Dwight Eisenhower’s Personal Diary. General Santos City was named in honor of the heroism of Cecille’s grandfather. A city in the predominantly Islamic South in the Philippines, General Santos is widely respected and honored by the Islamic communities in the Philippines. It is now a booming Filipino metropolis, the birthplace of boxing great Manny Pacquiao who was also a Congressman and now Senator of the nearby province of Sarangani.
